セブンスター・ボックス
セブンスター・ボックス is the box format of the original, added on 1 August 1995. The tobacco is the domestic blend, the filter is charcoal, and the yields are identical to the soft pack at 14 mg and 1.2 mg. Nothing about the cigarette changed; only the packaging did.
That is worth stating plainly because the box is frequently listed as though it were a separate product with its own specification, and every retailer page that treats the two as different variants is repeating a packaging distinction as a tobacco distinction.
The box carries the same 星小紋 star pattern as the soft pack, set on the dark ground that the format has used since it appeared. From 1999 the box design was revised, which is one of only two times the pack has been touched since 1969.

Priced identically to the soft pack at ¥600, so the format choice carries no price signal — it is a packaging preference, and in Japan a matter of how the cigarette has to be stored and carried.
None yet. All three axes are zero, which the site reads as “not rated” rather than as a score of nought, so the rankings table shows a dash until somebody writes them.

セブンスター・10・ボックス
A 10 mg step down from the original, launched 1990 — and the same day the brand refreshed its entire low-tar end, a programme it repeated in 2014 and then partly unwound.
