Seven Stars Menthol 8

セブンスター・メンソール・8

セブンスター・メンソール・8 launched on 27 May 2024 and is the newest addition to the Seven Stars range. JT lists it at 8 mg and 0.6 mg, in a pack of twenty for ¥600, same as everything else in the brand.

It is a relaunch with a confusing paper trail. A セブンスター・メンソール・8・ボックス existed from 14 April 2014 until December 2019 at 8 mg and 0.7 mg, and Wikipedia records that product as withdrawn. ja.wikipedia’s current-products table does not list the 2024 product at all, while its withdrawn table does list the 2014 one. So the reference work describes the older 8 mg as discontinued and does not mention that JT sells a new one.

The 0.6 mg figure is consistent with the earlier 8 mg box’s 0.7 mg having been revised, in the same direction as the menthol 12’s change. Neither source says so, so it is not claimed here.

Format is left undescribed in this entry deliberately. JT’s table gives tar, nicotine, count and price but not packaging for this product, and the withdrawn 2014 box is a different product whose format cannot be borrowed.

Rating

None yet. All three axes are zero, which the site reads as “not rated” rather than as a score of nought, so the rankings table shows a dash until somebody writes them.
